Industrial Design
Beautifully functional products – end to end
Our proven process takes your idea from discovery to delivery in six simple steps.
Our six-step development process reliably and repeatedly delivers products with impact. We call these the 6Ds.
Whether your goal is proof of concept prototype or mass manufacture, we scale the phases to take each project from research to realisation in a predictable way.
Merging technical detail and user appeal, we deliver functionally beautiful, successful products. So wherever you are in the product development process, and whatever your desired outcome, we will help you deliver quality products that surprise and delight.
1.
Discover
We meet with you to understand your project and goals, then conduct research to uncover unmet needs, highlight risks to avoid and recommend opportunities that maximise commercial success.
2.
Define
We work with you to align expectations, set goals, milestones and success metrics so you are confident we will deliver what you want.
We capture this all in a clear scope of works.
3.
Design
We start by setting your visual goals. We then generate concept sketches that meet these targets. Where required, we build & test or CAD model basic concepts to confirm if an idea will work. Finally, we show you how your product could look.
4.
Determine
Together, we evaluate and review the concepts to confirm the direction of your project.
We help you select the preferred solution for further development and confirm which key technologies or features should be included.
5.
Develop
We improve how the product works and satisfies the target market through an iterative process of design, build, test, improve, repeat.
We determine the materials and processes needed for production and identify potential manufacturers. Once the solution meets your requirements, we freeze the design.
6.
Deliver
We finalise the details of your design, creating 3D and 2D files. These are released to your selected manufacturers for tooling. We manage your suppliers through the manufacturing process, including first production run. We do this to make sure you and your customers are satisfied with the product quality you receive.
